Our Thoughts
We all like our comfort zone but God would have us move out of this zone and into that place where we’re totally dependent on Him; where we’re led by the Spirit of God and are then truly the sons of God (see Romans 8:14). It’s a scary place to be because we like to be in control of our lives but ironically, it’s the safest place to be. God would have us give Him the reins of our lives so He can be in absolute control and like the Good Shepherd that He is, Jesus will lead us and keep us (see Psalm 23). When we surrender every aspect of our lives to Him, even the apparently mundane things can become an expression of worship to Him because worship simply acknowledges that He is King and the Sovereign God over our lives. This surrender would reflect in how we live daily – in the choices we make and how we do things we do.
